    The Lightening Charge Speed of the New iPad Raises Serious Questions

    It has been only six days to the official launch of the New iPad, and we have come across an amazing fact. Those of you who didn’t buy the New iPad are on safe side, and those of you have bought the new iPad would be noticing this same issue on your iPad. Apple no doubt improved the battery in the New iPad by putting in a larger battery than the iPad 2 which makes it battery time more efficient and better than previous models of the iPad, on the other hand, the improved battery gets charged in an hour after the battery is fully drained. This is something new purported by Apple in their New iPad. The iPad 2 takes almost about 3-4 hours or more to get fully charged.

    The report of this lightning battery charge comes from DisplayMate President Ray Soneira indicated that the New iPad-put on charge with the 10w adapter given by Apple with the New iPad charges the battery in one hour and draws a sign of 100% charged as shown in the iOS. It also gives the sign of disconnect from the charging port when reached 100%. Then iLounge did a quick test on this issue and found out that:

     In iLounge’s testing, the new iPad switches from a lightning bolt (“still charging”) to plug (“done charging”) battery icon 5 to 10 minutes after reaching 100%; Soneira confirmed that the iPad still charges even when it claims to have been filled.

    This is really strange. This usually happens when you have an iPad with battery issues or something is wrong with battery. Mostly this happens when you do an over charge of you iPad. Now this is interesting that the New iPad charges in an hour to 100% and drains at 10% per hour while performing a task. Sometimes, the battery drains 2% also. iLounge also did a test on this and found out the result that:

    Notably, iLounge found unusual, non-linear reported battery drain during our numerous battery tests, with the third-generation iPad sometimes reporting a battery loss of just two percent over the first hour of testing, then averaging 10% of loss each hour afterwards while performing the same tasks.

    This is really strange that these types of issues have started to happen in Apple’s product. This is not the first time when we are seeing any of these issues in our life. If we recall the launch of iPhone 4, after the launch of the iPhone, 4 people had some serious signal issues and in the end, Apple recalled some of the iPhone 4’s Later on, they released the bumper case program to fix that issue. That was for iPhone 4. Now recall the iPad 2 launches. When iPad 2 was launched, people started to complain about the pale display and some of them reported about the yellow light coming from the corners of the iPad 2.

    The battery issues in the New iPad are not new, but they are really threatening. Different issues, but iPhone 4S also had serious battery issue, which was fixed by an iOS update. However the New iPad shows that the iPad is fully charged after one hour though it is not. It is still charging. So if you are facing the same issue on your New iPad so don’t feel odd because you are not the only one who is facing these issues.

    It has been only few days since the New iPad was launched in nine countries. It would be hardly five days since the New iPad debuted for public. The amazing thing is that the New revolutionary iPad made a phenomenal sales of 3000,000 in just four days after its launch. That was a great breakthrough of any iPad in history. The iPad 2 took 4 months to reach the sales of 300,000. This was no doubt a great breakthrough of the New iPad sales in history. When the new iPad got launched many people like before lined up in long queues to get their hands on the New iPad and be the first one to get the iPad before the rest of the world.

    When the New iPad was in the hands of consumers, everyone did great review of the New iPad with iPad 2 and came out with a conclusion that the New iPad is better than the iPad 2 in almost every aspect. It was better in specifications, size, and the design is the same. The New iPad must be a revolutionary iPad and must be better than the iPad but there was a little difference which was missed in the New iPad. The difference is really small and this difference outdone the New iPad when compared to iPad 2. This was proven by a third party consumer warranty company called Square Trade which went on streets to show that slight difference. They made out two different tests with the iPad 2 and the New iPad. Both of them were dropped one after another in different positions from Waist height and Shoulder height. First the iPad 2 was dropped faced down and then backwards from the waist height-then it was dropped down from Shoulder height following the same procedure, facedown and backwards. The result of the first drop down from the waist height didn’t damage the iPad 2 screen. Whereas the Shoulder height damaged the iPad 2 screen in both ways, Facing upwards and downwards. The shoulder drop down ended the job for the iPad 2.

    Now the New iPad turn comes in. The results were amazing than the iPad 2. We were expecting the New iPad to survive better than the iPad 2, but the results came out negative. When the New iPad was dropped from the waist height facing down, its glass got shattered. When the New iPad was dropped facing down the screen from shoulder height, the results were atrocious. The New iPad glass got broke down and it was looking like some car ran over the New iPad. The New iPad got broken from in a way that the entire screen came out after the drop.

    China is a well-known country for faking products and producing the copy of almost every product. This will not be the first time when you will be hearing about China smuggling over 200,000 new iPads also called iPad 3 in their country from Hong Kong border. The New iPad will not be sold in any of the Apple Store or on streets, but it will be sold in the most famous Grey Market in China where everything is of smuggle and sold at high or at low rates. The rates for a particular device will be determined when they will start to sell the New iPads.

    If we recall the launch of the New iPad, so it has been not more than four days since the New iPad was launched in 9 countries including USA, Hong Kong and other countries. Still China was missed out in the launch and in near future China is not seeming to get the iPad 3 officially. So, the grey market workers got lined up on the official launch day and some of them did a pre-order of the New iPad to smuggle them to China.

    According to CUTV report quoted by Tech In Asia told:

    The devices have been brought into the city by importers who ventured overseas to purchase them, with Hong Kong the favored choice due to its close proximity to Shenzhen. It is also said, however, that a significant number of devices were transferred over from the US, where pre-orders and a wider selection of retailers meant shorter queues for customers.

    Several imports are reported to have come from the U.S.A. This time the retailers did not made long queues to get the New iPad, instead they did pre-order and allowed customers to take full advantage of the small queues.

    The price of the new iPad depends on the market forces of the New iPad, that is supply and demand of the New iPad. The importers are believed to be keeping a yield of $20 per device and the price of the New iPad is said to be priced at $1,580 (10,000RMB). The price is also depending on the Chinese people who can pay up to $1,580 and more to get their early hands on the New iPad. This price is if of heavy demand. The price also varies from LTE/WIFI with GB. The greater the GB, the greater the price will be of the New iPad. When the Demand will start to diminish, the price is expected to decrease by $80 (500RMB).  The estimation of the 200,000 iPads doesn’t represent the total number of iPads smuggled into China because it doesn’t include the supply into other cities, such as Beijing and Shanghai says The Next Web.

    Some of the people believe that it is not worth it to update from iPad 2 to the New iPad because the size and the design are the same. Only some features are upgraded with a new iOS. This would be really interesting part to see about them when they see iPad 3 in the Apple Retail Store in few months. Till now there is no specific ETA for the official launch of the iPad 3 in China, but it is believed that Apple will be releasing the New iPad in China in next few months.     The heat is raising so fast that i0nqc the German Security researcher and iOS Hacker who showed the first proof of iOS 5.1 Jailbreak on iPad 2 and later on iPad 3 has now released a video showing the Untethered Jailbreak for iPad 3. First it was the Dev-Team member @MuscleNerd who showed the iPad 3 Untethered Jailbreak with his own exploits and now i0n1c showed a video of the Untethered Jailbreak of iPad 3 running iOS 5.1 and Cydia v1.1.5.

    It seems that i0n1c has made a great progress regarding the Untethered Jailbreak for iPad 3, iPad 2, iPhone 4S and all the older Devices. This doesn’t mean that i0n1c will be releasing the Jailbreak any time soon. He might have to work more on the Untethered Jailbreak like @MuscleNerd announced that he has also Jailbreaked his iPad 3 using some other exploit and it needs some extra work to be done.

    The competition between these two people is rising from time to time. At the time of iOS 5.0.1, it was only @Pod2g who came up with the Untethered Jailbreak for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. This time @Pod2g is working separately to find some bootrom level exploit for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. He might be busy in finding a good exploit for iPad 3 on iOS 5.1. But it seems that @Pod2g time is to rest and others time is to work hard to make the Untethered Jailbreak come to public. Time will tell about the Jailbreak and the tool in which it will arrive and whom exploit would be used.

    The New iPad gets Jailbroken on the release day in 2 different subcontinents is really a mysterious thing. Either Apple has lost the war against the Jailbreak community or they are giving them a free hand to play their move and then they will play their move. This iPad 3 launch will make a history in the Jailbreak world. This will be the first Device to get PWNED after few hours of its launch. If we recall the launch of iOS 4.x.x, @Comex was the first one to show off the Untethered Jailbreak for it and when iOS 5.x.x debuted, no one was even close to the Jailbreak. There was no news for months about the Jailbreak for iOS 5.x.x.
