The day before yesterday, Apple released revolutionary iOS Version of all time. This new revolutionary iOS Version is called iOS 7. Apple changed the tradition of iOS Versions by bringing in something new to its iOS Versions that is by changing the UI, Features, Icons, and many more things for which we waited for so long. Many of the features that are introduced in iOS 7 were already present in different OS Versions and were present in the Jailbreak Community since a long time.

How To Enable/Disable Screen Lock Orientation in iOS 7:

In order to enable Screen Lock Orientation, you need to swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone/ iPod Touch/iPad Screen to enable Control Centre. Once you have swiped up from Bottom of your screen, you will see something similar as shown in the image below:

Once you are on this screen, simply tap the Red Marked Icon to Enable Portrait Screen Lock Orientation.

How to Turn Off FindMyiPhone in iOS 7 to Downgrade/Restore:

FindMyiPhone has been taken to a completely new level by Apple in iOS 7. Apple has improved the security feature in iOS 7 by allowing the user to lock down his iPhone upon stealing or being robbed. After the user has activated the lock down on his iPhone, the thief is long gone and the iPhone is useless. Want to know why, see our two-phase test present here.

In order to maximize the protection of your iDevice, the person restoring the iDevice would need to turn off the FindMyiPhone feature from iCloud Settings to continue with the restore/downgrade procedure.

Step 1:

Go into Settings, over there you will see iCloud icon, Press that.

Step 2:

After pressing the iCloud option, you will see the following options from which FindMyiPhone would be last option. The option that you need to turn off.

Step 3:

When you will try to turn off the FindMyiPhone feature, it will ask for your Apple ID and Password. After entering the Apple ID and Password, it will be turned off and now you would be able to restore your iDevice.

Why Android is better than iOS?

Although Apple is about to release their iOS 7, one cannot help but wonder, why bother? Android is miles ahead of its competition already. Many of the new features that iOS7 will bring have been staples of Android for quite some time now. However, some people are still unconvinced, therefore, we’re here to prove once and for all that Android is the better OS.

Android iOS Comparison:

Widgets:

When unlocking any iDevice, even ones running on iOS 7, you will get nothing but a long list of icons of all the apps you downloaded. However, with Android, not only do you get multiple customizable home screens, you also get the option to modify their look, feel and functionality your choice of widgets.

By setting up widgets on your home screen, you can save yourself precious time by having your most accessed information available to you. These widgets auto update and the newer android versions (4.2+) allow lock screen widgets so you can get all-important information at a glance.

Screen size:

The superior android OS allows for numerous different screen sizes. Since Android phones come in all shapes and sizes, it is very easy to find one that fits your needs. However, with an iPhone, you are stuck with the same type of screen size.

In fact, High-end Android phones are increasingly coming out with larger and larger screens, making the iPhone smaller and insignificant. Not only does this help high-end markets, but also for people wanting to buy a budget phone, this is the perfect option as the smaller android phones cost significantly less than iPhone’s.

Custom Launchers:

Android allow you to take customization a step further by allowing you to change launchers. Launchers control everything from the app drawer to the icon styles to the animation that occurs when you move between screens.

Smartphones of today’s world run on different operating systems, but the main 3 names that are found when looking up in smart phone “OS” is Android, iOS and Widows. These three have been around for quite some time. All three are leaders of the smart phone world and all three are backed by powerful companies. Android made by Google, iOS made by Apple, and Windows Made by Microsoft. Today we’re going to compare these mighty OS’s to see which outperforms the other.

Android vs iOS vs Windows

Interface Difference:

Windows:

As opposed to setting up various apps on specific grids like in Android, Windows Phone 8 allows for a consistent, scrolling set of boxes that bombard the user with information.

Android:

Stock Android offers the most customization ability by allowing you to set live wallpapers, make widgets and fill icons according to your preference. What is great about this particular platform is that if you dislike the stock experience, the Play store has hundreds of other launchers that completely change the look and feel of an android phone.

iOS:

iOS has a minimalistic interface. While it may not offer much customization, its streamlined interface is simple to use and allows for speedy control over the phone.

Extra Features

Windows:

Windows Phone 8 offers many interesting features such as Data Sense, which not only monitors data but also compresses the data sent and received, saving you money. It also has a new mode called “Kids Corner” that creates a child friendly sub-account.

Android:

Android has a host of features, with the newest being Google Now and knowledge graph that helps Android be more efficient at being a personal assistant.

iOS:

iOS offers new features such as an updated notifications panel and a finalized version of SIRI that is supposed to be more efficient and have a new, life-like voice.

Camera

The Camera app is one of the most widely used apps in the smart phone world.

Windows:

Windows Phone 8 camera uses Pinch to zoom and the ability to take photos by tapping the screen, which makes the app feel a little more natural. There are also ‘lenses’, that allow you to use camera tools that you have downloaded within the app, rather than a separate app.

Android:

Android’s camera is constantly updated, but nonetheless, with the different OEMs, each camera app is different. The stock app on its own is purely simple, but offers features such as ISO, brighten and contrast adjusting as well as a swipe based controls.

iOS:

The iOS 7 brings in a bucket full of changes to the camera app. There aren’t many deep changes, aside from photo effects but there are varying lens shapes and live photo filters that give you an Instagram look without having to use the app. Aside from that, the camera app is generally very swipe friendly.

With Windows still having much to catch up on, Android providing smaller updates and Apple finally catching up on the latest trends, it seems that these software are tied. This is mostly because each offer something different to the table and it is up to the user to see which flavor of smart phone he or she likes.

Finally, the wait for the next level of iOS is over. Apple has released iOS 7 for public after releasing the first Beta on WWDC 13.
